Scholarship Program WCRP can’t provide all
the important, specialized and relevant training pertinent to risk
management for our member counties. Often there are training options
members would attend, given adequate resources. To access quality
training, the WCRP Board of Directors has authorized a SCHOLARSHIP
FUND for 2007-2008.
Scholarship funds are to assist member counties in
accessing opportunities for training in specific risk management
areas that are otherwise not provided. The training is to be
liability related and benefit the individual county and the entire
Risk Pool Membership when such training is brought back and shared
with others.
Scholarship funds are used to pay for training
fees only. Travel, meals and accommodations are the county’s
responsibility. Scholarship funds are distributed based on an
application analysis conducted by Risk Pool staff. Scholarship funds
are not granted for WCRP-sponsored training. Recipients of approved
scholarship requests: you must register for the approved training on
your own.
