Cyber Security Awareness Reimbursements
OVERVIEW
The WCRP is pleased to support member counties by offering partial reimbursement towards annual subscriptions for cyber security training and awareness programs with third-party vendors, such as KnowBe4, PhishFirewall, and others. This initiative is designed to enhance your county's ability to protect sensitive information and strengthen overall cyber resilience. By investing in comprehensive training, your county employees will be better equipped to identify and respond to potential threats appropriately, thereby reducing the risk of cyber incidents and ensuring compliance with best practices while promoting a culture of proactive security awareness.
REIMBURSEMENT ELIGIBILITY
- Eligibility: The WCRP will reimburse the per-user cost of the training awareness subscription, along with any applicable taxes. Please note that additional optional services or add-ons (such as KnowB4's PhishER) are not eligible for reimbursement and will be the responsibility of the member county.
- Annual Processing: Reimbursements will be processed on an annual basis. For multi-year contracts, the county can expect to submit a new request each year.
Vendors may allow the county to pay annual installments for multi-year contracts, and it will be up to the county to seek those arrangements directly with the vendor.
