Through the Executive Director, the Washington Counties Risk Pool staff carries out the directives of the Pool's 24-member Board of Directors and 11-member Executive Committee. Whether it is through its Operations & Finance Department, Risk & Claims Department, and Member Services Department, the WCRP's dynamic, motivated, and professional team serves its member counties and their employees through the efficient administration of the Pool's affairs.

Director – Risk & Claims: The WCRP is actively recruiting to fill our Director of Risk & Claims position. Reporting to the Executive director, the ideal candidate will have the perfect combination of risk, claims and management experience to drive the success of our Risk and Claims teams. It is critical that the person filling this position possesses the experience and skills needed to oversee and provide management and leadership to a claims team that handles all claims received by the Pool's 24 member counties, ranging from minor claims to the most complex in facts, damages and coverage. The candidate selected for this leadership position will also demonstrate their exceptional risk management knowledge and aptitude, providing high-level leadership and guidance to the Pool's Risk team as they answer complex risk management questions, review complicated contracts, analyze data and loss trends, and provide training and guidance to our member counties. Just as critical, however, is the ability to communicate effectively, provide training and leadership to new and experienced staff, and be an approachable, friendly and collaborative partner to other WCRP teams and our members.
